South Carolina Is One Of Several States Affected By Meat Recall

A possible E. coli contamination is the cause of a meat recall affecting several states including South Carolina.

Yesterday, Pennsylvania based Marcho Farms announced the recall of over five thousand pounds of several meat products including veal, beef and pork. The meat products were produced in mid April and distributed to stores and eateries in North and South Carolina, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Specific details of the recall are available from plant manager Herb Nicolo with Marcho Farms in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
