A University of South Carolina basketball player will represent the United States at the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup for Women in Italy this year.
Tyasha Harris has been selected as one of the best players in the world under the age of 19. This is the fourth year a Gamecock player has been selected for the national women's team.
Harris will spend the next month in Colorado Springs at the U.S. Olympic Training Center getting ready for the July tournament.
