Officials say the dog flu is in South Carolina and it's highly contagious.
Veterinarians say the flu can be transferred from one dog to another by a sneeze from over 20 feet away. It can also spread by people petting dogs infected with the flu.
Symptoms of dog flu include sneezing, coughing, fever, low energy and loss of appetite.
There is a vaccine you can get to prevent your pup from getting sick.
