SC Law Enforcement Needs More Funding For Officer Weapons

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Association is hoping to equip officers around the state with high-powered rifles. 

The Kershaw County sheriff says that funding is the missing link between officers and weapons needed to respond to active shootings.

The Law Enforcement Association wants to expand a Department of Defense program that provides officers with rifles from the military surplus
