A third card skimmer discovered in the Midlands in recent days led to an arrest.
Richland County investigators charged Denisa Bonculesco with financial card transaction forgery, saying the Romanian woman placed a skimmer at the First Citizens ATM on Rosewood Drive last June, stealing more than $32,000 from customers who used the bank machine
Sheriff Leon Lott believes Bonculesco is part of a Romanian gang targeting Midlands banks.
