Richland County Council Votes For Million Dollar Improvements To Chambers

The Richland County Council members think an up to one-point-two-million dollar renovation is necessary for their council chambers.

The members voted to approve the spending yesterday and only three were in opposition. Councilman Seth Rose was against the idea and said that there were "more pressing needs than a seven-figure renovation."

They will be fixing air conditioning and heating problems, as well as adding more space, new furniture, big screens and adding electronic voting capabilities.
