One of the Midland's most popular Fourth of July celebrations isn't happening this year.
Fort Jackson, the country's largest Army training base, won't be hosting the annual Torchlight Tattoo celebration.
A spokesperson said they decided not to put on the fireworks display after hosting a centennial celebration in early June that included fireworks.
