(Columbia, SC) -- President Trump is coming to South Carolina next weekend to campaign for Governor Henry McMaster.
The President will stump with the governor October 16th in Greenville, as part of McMaster's bid to win next year's Republican primary and an outright first term in office.
He succeeded Governor Nikki Haley in January, when Trump's appointment of her as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations was confirmed.
McMaster was the first state official in the nation to endorse Trump's bid for the White House when he was lieutenant governor in February of last year.
