(Columbia, SC) -- A man who sped from a traffic stop and later fled on foot is being held on multiple charges.
Columbia police attempted to stop Charles Dorsey for speeding on I-26 but gave up the pursuit out of fear for other drivers' safety. Dorsey later abandoned his vehicle and was caught running on Greystone Boulevard.
Police say he admitted to speeding from them before he was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Dorsey was also driving with a suspended license at the time.
