(Columbia, SC) -- With family members unable to say goodbye, some local veterans are stepping up to give two soldiers a proper send-off.
An American Legion post in Chapin announced yesterday its members and those from other groups will be present next week as two veterans are laid to rest.
The cremated remains of Army vet Glenn Duncan and Air Force vet Gregory Politte will be buried at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
The American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard will accompany the remains to the cemetery, and an Honor Guard will provide full military honors.
