Santee Cooper Board Chairman Willing To Step Down With Conditions

(Pinopolis, SC)  --  The chairman of Santee Cooper's board is willing to resign, but only if he gets a concession from the governor.  

Chairman Leighton Lord said yesterday he won't resign until Governor Henry McMaster retracts a statement accusing Lord of withholding documents about the failed nuclear project.  

McMaster says those documents are needed to sell Santee Cooper and recover billions of dollars from the project.  Lord also says if McMaster fires him without retracting his accusation, he will appeal
