City Council Approves Bump Stock Ban

(Columbia, SC)  --  The City of Columbia is banning the use of bump stocks and trigger cranks.  Council members approved the ordinance last night.

Both devices are used to make guns fire more rounds and faster.  The ordinance was introduced following the deadly massacre in Las Vegas in October.

Police say there were several bump stocks found in the shooter's hotel room.
