Pascoe Asks Judge To Recuse Herself From Quinn Trial

(Beaufort, SC)  --  A prosecutor claims a judge missed a golden opportunity to send a message about corruption.

Special prosecutor David Pascoe yesterday blamed Judge Carmen Mullen for giving former Lexington State Rep. Rick Quinn too light of a sentence.

Pascoe requested Mullen recuse herself from the case and vacate the sentence of probation she handed down two weeks ago.

Mullen, in turn, blamed Pascoe for dropping some charges he originally filed against Quinn, but she issued no ruling on his requests.
