USC's Wilson Named National Player Of The Year

(Columbia, SC)  --  Despite missing out on the Final Four, USC women's basketball still has reason to celebrate.

Gamecock Senior A'ja Wilson yesterday won the Wade Trophy for the nation's best player.  The award is handed out by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

It comes after Wilson already was named player of the year by USA Today and ESPNW.

Wilson, yesterday, was also named a WBCA All-American for the third time in her career.
