Likely House District 69 winner Chris Wooten is credited with helping Lexington Police catch a suspected shoplifter recently.
The suspect was on the run after police say he robbed a Kohl's store and fled toward the Hope Ferry Subdivision.
That's where 'Fox 57' reports the former Marine, state trooper, football player and soon-to-be lawmaker tackled the man and officers made the arrest.
