(Myrtle Beach, SC) -- A woman is suing over injuries she says she suffered after getting hit by a firework in Horry County.
Lawyers for Virginia's Kelly Deffner filed the suit this week against Broadway at the Beach.
They say their client was hit in the head while watching a fireworks show three years ago in Myrtle Beach, and 'News 13' reports she claims to have suffered mental and physical injuries, including permanent scarring.
It's not clear how much money she's asking for, and Broadway at the Beach has not responded to the suit.
