USC To Offer Anti-Overdose Drug

(Columbia, SC) -- USC is taking steps to address what it calls a national crisis.

The school announced this week it will offer the anti-overdose drug Narcan at its on-campus pharmacy.

The drug is used to save the lives of people who are suffering from an opioid overdose.

No prescription will be needed, and the school says it has applied for a grant that will allow students to get it for free.
