(Columbia, SC) -- All of the Midlands could experience some of the worst effects of Hurricane Michael with the worst impacts for the eastern sections of the area.
The National Weather Service yesterday issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Orangeburg County.
This morning Tropical Storm Watches were upgraded to Tropical Storm Warnings for Aiken, Lexington and Richland counties.
Michael is expected to make landfall today in the Florida Panhandle before moving to South Carolina tomorrow, and the NWS warns of strong winds, flooding and isolated tornadoes.
