Virginia College Closing Columbia Branch

(Columbia, SC) -- At least one student feels like their school is slapping them in the face.

That was the reaction yesterday after Virginia College announced it will close all campuses around the country, including in Columbia, this month.

The school says it doesn't have the money to continue, and it will give students credit for all the courses they passed.

One student at the branch on Two Notch Road tells News 19 he's three months short of certification, and he now has nothing to show for all the loans he took out.
