Columbia Nonprofit Reacts To Lottery Winner Donation

A record-setting jackpot will lead to a record-setting donation for a Columbia nonprofit.

In the Middle helps breast cancer survivors, and it's one of the charities getting a donation from the winner of last year's one-and-a-half billion dollar Mega Millions jackpot. An executive won't say how much they're getting, but she says it's the largest donation they've ever received.

Columbia's Ronald McDonald House is also getting a share of the jackpot, and its operations director tells News 19 it's one of the best things that has ever happened to them.
