Lawmaker To File Ride Sharing Bill After Josephson's Murder

(Columbia, SC) -- A lawmaker is doing his part to prevent more tragedies like the one involving Samantha Josephson.

The 21-year-old USC student was murdered this weekend after police say she got into a car she mistakenly thought was her Uber ride.

State Rep. Seth Rose announced yesterday he'll file a bill today to require rideshare drivers to have illuminated signage on their cars.

The bill will be named the Samantha L. Josephson Ridesharing Safety Act.
