(Columbia, SC) -- USC can claim an off-the-field victory over Clemson.
State high school football officials voted yesterday to keep many of the championship games at Williams-Brice Stadium this season.
Clemson had made a pitch to host the games, but the committee thought travel time would be reduced if the games were in Columbia.
Williams-Brice will host championship games for 3A, 4A and 5A, but Benedict College will host the A and 2A games.
