CHARLESTON, S.C. (WACH) — Charleston is feeling Hurricane Dorian’s impacts, South Carolina Emergency Management officials say.
Many roads got flooded throughout the city, according to local officials early Thursday morning, SCEMD Tweeted.
SCEMD asked that people stay off the roads, reporting that nearly half of flood-related deaths happen to people in vehicles and that just six inches of water on the street can cause a vehicle to go out of control.
