SC Legislator Bill Would Require Media Literacy Be Taught In Public Schools

(Columbia, SC) -- A South Carolina legislator is pre-filing a bill for media literacy in schools.

Representative Seth Rose wants students to learn how to tell which articles could have bias or false information.

House Bill 4673 would mandate critical thinking skills be taught in public schools.

It will be reviewed when the legislative session gets underway in January.
