(Columbia, SC) -- A lawmaker is being accused of creating a hostile environment.
Executive Director James Brown made the remarks about Senator Dick Harpootlian at the Richland County Legislation Delegation meeting yesterday. He claimed the senator was disrespectful, intimidating, and demeaning during a closed door meeting on November 22nd.
Harpootlian defended his actions, but the delegation unanimously passed a motion saying actions to create a hostile environment should not be tolerated.
