NCAA Notifies USC Of Allegations Against Former Assistant Coach

(Columbia, SC) -- The University of South Carolina is receiving notice of alleged NCAA violations.

A seven-page document says former men's basketball assistant coach Lamont Evans violated the organization's principles of ethical conduct.

He is accused of receiving benefits from August of 2015 to March of 2016 in order to influence a student-athlete to meet with a professional athlete agency.

Evans previously pleaded guilty to taking bribes in a case last year.
