South Carolina's Tourism Makes Record-Breaking $23.8 Billion In 2018

(Myrtle Beach, SC) -- The tourism industry in South Carolina is setting a new record. 

It was announced at the Governor's Conference on Tourism and Travel in Myrtle Beach that the industry brought in just under 24-billion dollars during 2018. 

Officials say tourism supports one in every 10 jobs in the state. It is also credited with bringing in one-point-eight-billion dollars in local and state taxes.
