Coronavirus: Non-Essential State Employees To Work From Home

(Columbia, SC) -- All non-essential state employees are being ordered to work from home.

Governor Henry McMaster issued an executive order yesterday. Any buildings where state agencies are housed will remain open, in case the public needs them.

As part of the order, all state colleges and universities must decide which staff are considered essential in making sure students complete their remaining coursework online.

The University of South Carolina and Clemson University are among the schools that will finish the semester with online learning and postpone graduation ceremonies.
