More Coronavirus Cases, Deaths Announced In South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) -- There are five more coronavirus deaths in South Carolina, bringing the state's total to 31. 

The newly-announced deaths were all elderly patients with underlying health issues. Two of them were from Florence County, one was from Anderson County, one was from Horry County, and the other was from Sumter County. 

The Department of Health and Environmental Control also announced 261 new COVID-19 cases for a total of one-thousand-554.
