University Of South Carolina Extends Remote Learning Through August 1

(Columbia, SC) -- Students at the University of South Carolina will be learning remotely through the end of the summer.

It was announced yesterday that online learning would extend into the end of the Summer Two semester, which ends August 1st.

University officials say the decision was made because COVID-19 is expected to remain a public health risk through the beginning of the summer months.

Commencement plans for the class of 2020 are still tentatively scheduled for August 7th and 8th.
