State Leaders Consider Reopening Attractions For Memorial Day Weekend

(Columbia, SC) -- State leaders are recommending attractions be reopened to the public starting Memorial Day weekend.

The Director of South Carolina Parks, Recreation and Tourism says opening swimming pools and other attractions will prevent all of the crowds from being in the same place.

This comes after a large crowd gathered along the Grand Strand this past weekend.

Governor McMaster says he believes reopening attractions is a good recommendation, but he has not formally announced a decision.
