His words led to a social media outburst. Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney commented Monday on the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the ensuing racial unrest in America. That led former Tiger receiver Kanyon Tuttle to tweet about a Clemson coach using racial slurs in practice. And last night, longtime Tiger assistant Danny Pearman apologized for that incident, which happened three years ago and involved former Tiger tight end DJ Greenlee.
