Protesters Calling For Accountability In Columbia Officer-Involved Shooting

(Columbia, SC) -- Protesters are calling for the Columbia Police Chief's resignation in connection to a deadly officer-involved shooting.

An officer shot 17-year-old Joshua Ruffin in the Eau Claire neighborhood on April 8th, and the teen did not survive.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has concluded their investigation into the shooting.

The solicitor's office is expected to make a decision and issue a full statement this month.
