South Carolina Sees Record High Number Of COVID-19 Cases In A Single Day

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina is setting another record high number of coronavirus cases in a single day.

There were 687 new cases reported yesterday, along with 13 deaths.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control says the spike in cases is not due to more testing.

The number of people who test positive for COVID-19 in relation to the number of tests being performed has gone up alongside the case numbers increasing.
