More South Carolina Residents Being Tested For Coronavirus

(Columbia, SC) -- More South Carolina residents are being tested for COVID-19. 

The Department of Health and Environmental Control says over 473-thousand tests have been conducted in the Palmetto State as of Saturday. 

Of those tested, the percent positive was just under 17-percent. The Public Health Laboratory is extending hours to get more tests processed, and there are over 40 mobile testing events being held across the state through August 4th.
