One Man Arrested In Connection To Deadly Greenville Nightclub Shooting

(Greenville, SC) -- One man is in custody in connection to the Greenville nightclub shooting on the Fourth of July.

That shooting killed two people and left eight others injured.

Authorities announced the arrest of Jarquez Kezavion Cooper yesterday, saying they believe Cooper has gang ties. He's being charged with two counts of murder, seven counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police also say they are working with the Greenville City Council to try and get Lavish Lounge shut down due to their history of crimes being committed there, and because they violated the Governor's state of emergency that banned nightclubs from being open.
