South Carolina Department Of Agriculture Warns Of Seed Packets In The Mail

(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Agriculture is warning residents of seed packets showing up in the mail.

The mysterious arrivals are being investigated by the Department and Clemson University's Regulatory Services division.

USDA officials are also conducting a national investigation. They ask anyone who receives the seeds not to open or plant them, but instead to put them in a zip-top bag and contact officials.
