Unsealed Docs Detail Ghislaine Maxwell's Alleged Abuse Of Underage Girls

Newly unsealed court documents from a civil lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell detail how she allegedly groomed and sexually abused underage girls along with Jeffrey Epstein. The documents include a 2016 deposition in which one of Epstein's alleged victims, Virginia Giuffre, describes her time on Epstein's private island.

Giuffre told the lawyers she met Maxwell when she was 15 years old and working at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. She said Maxwell told her she could make some extra money by going to Epstein's mansion in Palm Beach to give him massages.

Giuffre said that Maxwell would fly her to Epstein's island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein and Maxwell would have "continuous sex" with girls who Giuffre estimated were between the ages of 15 and 21.

"The island was a place where orgies were a constant thing that took place. And again, it's impossible to know how many," Giuffre said.

She told investigators she saw Bill Clinton on the island and asked Epstein what the former president was doing there.

"You know, I remember asking Jeffrey [a] 'What's Bill Clinton doing here?' kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said, 'Well, he owes me a favor.' He never told me what favors they were. I never knew. I didn't know if he was serious. It was just a joke."

None of the allegations in the newly unsealed documents relate directly to the charges Maxwell is facing. She was arrested on July 2 and is facing six counts of sex trafficking involving minors between 1994 and 1997.
