Coronavirus Cases In South Carolina Fall Below 500

(Columbia, SC) -- A lower number of coronavirus cases is being reported in South Carolina. 

DHEC announced 451 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the state's total to 105,905 since the pandemic began. 

They also announced 20 more deaths, but those occurred over multiple days. 

Of those who died of the virus, 16 were elderly, three were middle-aged, and one was a young adult.
