(Richland County, SC) -- A runoff election is being held in Richland County today.
Democrats Jonnieka Farr and Jessica Mackey are vying for the Richland County Council District 9 seat.
The position was previously held by Councilman Calvin "Chip" Jackson, who died August 7th.
No Republicans are registered for the race, so the winner of the runoff election will take the District 9 seat.
