(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina has over a thousand newly confirmed coronavirus cases for the first time since September 4th.
DHEC announced 1,072 cases of COVID-19 and 11 more deaths from the virus yesterday.
While most of the deaths occurred between October 8th and 14th, one dated back to August and another happened September 29th.
The total number of coronavirus cases in South Carolina since the pandemic began is now 154,869.
