University Of South Carolina Cancels Traditional Week-Long Spring Break

(Columbia, SC) -- The University of South Carolina will not have a traditional spring break this school year.

Instead of a week-long break in March, the school will have four days off called "wellness days."

School officials say the change was made to prevent students from traveling on spring break and potentially bringing COVID-19 back to campus.

The wellness days are set for February 25th, March 12th, March 30th, and April 21st.
