(Columbia, SC) --  The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,754 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 208,435 since the pandemic began.
DHEC also reported 21 more deaths, for a state total of 4,145. DHEC says the positivity rate for COVID-19 cases in the state is just under 24-percent.
