South Carolina Resuming Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation Benefits

(Columbia, SC) -- The Federal Pandemic Unemployment compensation benefits are resuming in South Carolina.

That means claimants eligible to receive unemployment benefits will get an additional 300-dollars on top of their weekly amount.

State officials say they've already paid over 10-million dollars to the first round of claimants. This comes after the passage of the recent COVID-19 stimulus bill.
