Gov. McMaster Announces Deadline For Phase 1A COVID-19 Vaccines

(Columbia, SC) -- The Governor of South Carolina is announcing a new COVID-19 vaccine deadline.

Governor McMaster made the announcement yesterday. Now, anyone who is eligible to be vaccinated under Phase 1A of the state's plan needs to get the first dose of the vaccine or at least make their appointment by January 15th.

This includes healthcare workers and staff and residents at long-term care facilities. McMaster says those who do not follow the deadline will "go to the back of the line."
