Sen. Tim Scott Proposes Bill To Establish Bipartisan Advisory Committee

(Washington, DC) -- Senator Tim Scott is seeking to establish a committee to scrutinize the November election.

Scott introduced a bill yesterday to create the 2020 Bipartisan Advisory Committee.

The proposal suggests an 18-member group that would study the effects of the pandemic on the election, mail-in and absentee ballot practices, and the scope of any improper or fraudulent voter registration or votes.

The committee would then submit a series of reports with recommendations for local and state governments.
