South Carolina Lawmakers Form Committee To Look Into Vaccine Rollout

(Columbia, SC) -- Lawmakers in South Carolina are looking into the state's COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

House Speaker Jay Lucas founded a committee to look at how DHEC and other state agencies are distributing the vaccine.

Representative Neal Collins has been calling for answers from DHEC, saying many residents of the Palmetto state are frustrated.

DHEC officials say they will work with legislators to ensure the vaccine is administered as quickly as possible.
