South Carolina House Passes $208 Million COVID-19 Bill

The South Carolina House is advancing a multi-million dollar COVID-19 bill.

The legislation allocates 208-million dollars toward expanding statewide vaccine capacity and improving the state's testing for coronavirus. That funding will go to the Department of Health and Environmental Control and the Medical University of South Carolina.

The bill also asks DHEC to give out vaccine doses based on the population sizes of the state's four regions, as opposed to by county.
