South Carolina's COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility Changing To 65 And Older

(Columbia, SC) -- The eligibility for a COVID-19 vaccination in South Carolina changes next week.

Starting Monday, people 65 and older can make appointments to be vaccinated. The change was made possible because of more doses being sent to the Palmetto state.

Governor McMaster has been calling for the expansion of vaccinations to those 65 and over.

Yesterday DHEC announced 1,762 confirmed COVID cases and 64 deaths.
