(Columbia, SC) -- The Columbia City Council is no longer expected to amend its mask ordinance today.
The council agenda previously included a debate on increased punishments for those not following the city's face mask rules, including boosting fines to up to $500.
Yesterday, the agenda item was withdrawn. It is still expected to be debated in executive session.
